GLOSSARY

 Eager- ansioso - wanting to do or have something very much
 Bitter- amargado - angry and upset
 Broadcast- emitir / emisión - to send out a programme on television or radio
 Claim- sostener- o say that something is true
 Slot - espacio -a small narrow opening, especially one to receive coins
 Terraced - adosado -  built as or belonging to a row often small houses joined together along their side walls



1.1 EXTRA VOCABULARY

 Bully - acoso - to try to frighten someone who is smaller or weaker
 Founder - fundador - someone who establishes an organization
Star - estrella -a famous singer, actor, sportsman/sportswoman, etc.
 Vicims - victimas - someone who has been hurt or killed


1.3 EXTRA VOCABULARY

 Habitat - habitat - the natural environment in which an animal or plant usually lives
National Park  - parque nacional- an area of a country that is protected by the government because of its natural beauty or because it has a special history
 Shade- sombra - an area where there is no light from the sun and it is darker
 the wild- la naturaleza - (of an animal) in its natural surroundings


2.1 EXTRA VOCABULARY 

Image- imagen - the way that other people think someone or something is
Media- medios - the internet, newspapers, magazines, television, etc., considered as a group
Product- producto - something that someone makes or grows so that they can sell it
Slogan-  slogan  - a short phrase that is easy to remember and is used to make people notice something
Slot- espacio - a long, thin hole that you put something into, especially money


2.3 EXTRA VOCABULARY

Habitable- habitable - providing conditions that are good enough to live in or on
Ordinary - ordinario -  not special or different in any way
Potential - potencial - possible
Semi-detached - semi adosado -  a house that is joined to another similar house on one side
Stunning - impresionante - very beautiful
