GLOSSARY

Dull - soso/aburrido - not interesting or exciting in any way

2.1 EXTRA VOCABULARY

Audience - audiencia - the group of people together in one place to watch or listen to a play, film, someone speaking, etc.
Box office - taquilla - the place in a cinema or theatre where tickets are sold.
Income - beneficio/sueldo - money that is earned from doing work or received from investments.
Publicity - publicidad - the activity of making certain that someone or something attracts a lot of interest or attention from many people, or the attention received as a result of this activity.
Special effects - efectos especiales - artificial images, esp. in a film, that appear real but are created by artists and technical experts.
Talented - talentos@ - with talent; able or skilful.

2.3 EXTRA VOCABULARY

Ghost - fantasma - the spirit of a dead person, sometimes represented as a pale, almost transparent image of that person that some people believe appears to people who are alive.
Gift - regalo - a present or something that is given
Joke - broma - something, such as a funny story or trick, that is said or done in order to make people laugh
Live - en directo - (of a performance) broadcast, recorded, or seen while it is happening
Performer - artista - a person who entertains people by acting, singing, dancing, or playing music
Tale  - historia/cuento - a story, especially one that might be invented or difficult to believe
